    • PURPOSE: Aluminum alloy for casting and forging, a cast and forged product for suspension and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to enable materials to be recycled since a dead head removed after hot forging and flash removed by a trimming process are again melted in a material melting process for making molten metal. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing aluminum alloy for casting and forging, and a cast and forged product for suspension comprises following steps. Alluminium alloy of molten metal is cast and a pre-molded body is molded. The pre-molded body is pre-heated. The pre-heated pre-molded body is hot-forged once at reduction ratio of 5~25%. Solution treatment is performed on the hot-forged product at a temperature of 530~550°C. The product after solution treatment is rapidly cooled and then aging treatment is performed on the cooled product at a temperature of 150~170°C or 170~180°C. The aluminum alloy for casting forging consists of 2~3wt% of Si, 0.6~0.9wt% of Mg, 0.2~0.8wt% of Cu, 0.2~0.6wt% Zn, 0.03~0.2wt% of Mn, 0.01~0.1wt% of Ti, 0.05~0.35wt% of Cr, 0.001~0.05wt% or Sr, 0.15 wt% or less of Fe, 0.001wt% or less of P, and Al.

    • PURPOSE: An automatic correction apparatus for a timing chain cover manufactured by a die-casting process and a method thereof are provided to improve the quality by correcting twisting due to thermal deformation since a timing chain cover is pressed by the down movement of an upper mold. CONSTITUTION: An automatic correction apparatus for a timing chain cover manufactured by a die-casting process comprises a lower mold(14), a fixing unit(12), a moving unit(11), an upper mold(13), and a guide bar(15). A timing chain cover(10) is mounted in the lower mold. The lower mold is installed on the top of the fixing unit. The moving unit moves up and down from the top of the fixing unit by fluid pressure. The upper mold compresses the timing chain cover. The guide bar connects the moving unit and fixing unit in order to guide the up and down downward movement of the moving unit.
