    • PURPOSE: Provided is a process for refining normal heptane, which can recycle waste heptane generated as a byproduct and used as a fuel, therefore economical effect can be obtained. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of: injecting the normal heptane into a first distillation tower(1) to separate oil components with low boiling point; injecting the firstly distilled heptane into a second distillation tower(2) to separate oil components with high boiling point; cleansing the distilled heptane with a weak acid; washing the cleaned heptane until the heptane is neutralized; and passing the washed heptane through an absorption tower.

    • PURPOSE: A method for refining an organic solvent is provided to discharge propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate(PGMEA) and dimethylformamide(DMF) respectively through the upper part and the lower part of a distilling column by lowering the boiling point of the PGMEA than the boiling point of the DMF. CONSTITUTION: A method for refining an organic solvent includes the following: a mixture containing PGMEA and DMF is prepared(S10); an entrainer is added into the mixture(S30); and the mixture with the entrainer is azeotropic distilled. The entrainer contains water. The mixture contains n-butyl acetate. The amount of the entrainer is 25 to 40 wt% based on the mixture. The azeotropic distillation is implemented under the atmospheric pressure.

    • PURPOSE: A purification method of organic solvent is provided to decompose impurities having boiling point similar with propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate and to minimize the loss of propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate by using an aryloxide based compound. CONSTITUTION: A purification method of organic solvent comprises: a step of preparing organic solvent mixture comprising propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate and impurities; and a step of removing the impurities by reacting aryloxide based compound into the organic solvent mixture. The impurities are selected from propionate based compounds, and ketone based compounds. The aryloxide based compound is in chemical formula 1: Ar-O-M, and Ar is selected from phenyl, methylphenyl, and 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methyl, and M is selected from Na, K, Co, Ga, Ge, Hf, Fe, Ni, Nb, Mo, La, Re, Sc, Si, Ti, Ta, W, Y and Zr.
