    • Hydrocarbon steam cracking oxide catalysts are provided to obtain excellent thermal stability at high temperatures and improve yield of light olefin substantially, a method for preparing the hydrocarbon steam cracking oxide catalysts is provided, and a method for preparing light olefin using the hydrocarbon steam cracking oxide catalysts is provided. As an oxide catalyst comprising Cr and Zr, a hydrocarbon steam cracking oxide catalyst is represented by the formula CrZrjOx, where j is ranged from 0.5 to 120, and x is a number satisfying valence conditions of j. As an oxide catalyst comprising Cr and Zr, and comprising at least one metal component(A) selected from the group consisting of Ti, Nb, Mo, V, Co, Ni, W, Fe and rare earth metals, a hydrocarbon steam cracking oxide catalyst is represented by the formula CrZrjAkOx, where j is ranged from 0.5 to 120, k is ranged from 1 to 50, x is a number satisfying valence conditions of j and k, and j/k is ranged from 0.5 to 5. A method for preparing a hydrocarbon steam cracking oxide catalyst comprises the steps of: (a) mixing distilled water with a metal mixture comprising Cr and Zr to prepare an aqueous solution; (b) adding ammonia water into the prepared aqueous solution and coprecipitating the mixed solution to prepare a slurry; (c) subjecting the prepared slurry to refluxing heating or hydrothermal treatment; and (d) filtering, drying and firing the slurry of the step(c).

    • PURPOSE: A catalyst for producing ethylene is provided to increase the ethane conversion and ethylene selectivity and to lower the catalyst inactivation, thereby obtaining ethylene at a high yield. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst for producing ethylene is a metal supported catalyst having the formula of Pt-M/S, wherein M is one or more metal catalyst components selected from the group consisting of Sn, Cu, Ce, Mg and Sr, S is one or more carriers selected from the group consisting of alpha-Al2O3, SiO2, MgO and CeO2. The method for producing ethylene comprises the step of contacting a mixed gas containing ethane, oxygen and hydrogen with the metal supported catalyst in a vapor phase to perform the oxidative dehydrogenation.
