      본 발명에 따르면, 댐퍼에 직접 센서를 결합하여 댐퍼의 거동을 감지하는 것이 가능해지므로, 그 감지결과를 바탕으로 댐퍼의 감쇠력을 보다 정확하게 제어하는 것이 가능해진다. 또한 센서모듈에 가속도센서와 상대변위센서를 포함시킴으로써 양 센서의 감지데이터를 비교하여 어느 센서의 고장여부를 확인할 수 있고, 하나의 센서가 고장나는 경우에도 다른 센서의 감지값을 이용하여 댐퍼를 제어할 수 있기 때문에 전자제어식 현가장치의 감쇠력 제어의 안정감과 신뢰감을 높일 수 있다.
