    • The present invention relates to a lightweight aggregate using waste stone sludge of basalt and a production method thereof. The lightweight aggregate is obtained by the steps of: mixing a mixture formed of 80-100 wt% of basalt stone sludge, 10-20 wt% of jeju clay, 50-100 wt% of glass powder, and 5-10 wt% of calcium carbonate with water to obtain a molded body; and plasticizing and foaming the molded body, and drying. The lightweight aggregate is also obtained by the steps of: mixing 100 wt% of basalt stone sludge and 0.5-1.0 wt% of silicon carbide (SiC); adding water 20 wt% of watery glass, and molding the mixture into a molded body; and plasticizing and foaming the molded body, and drying.     • To provide a stone plate chamfering apparatus for supplying inexpensively chamfered stone plate by automatically chamfering the stone plate. An apparatus for chamfering stone plate comprises: a transfer means driven by power to transfer the stone plate; at least one or more hitters(50,60,70,80) which are disposed oppositely to the edge surface to crush the edge surface toward the center of a stone plate surface from an edge surface of the stone plate transferred by the transfer means and consisting of a chisel installed on a front part of the hitters and a chisel driving part for reciprocating the chisel; and a frame to which the transfer means and the hitter are fixed, wherein the apparatus further comprises a supporting roller installed on the frame and rotated with being contacted with the upper surface of the stone plate, and tension bars(111,112) installed on the frame to elastically support the supporting roller to the frame such that the supporting roller fixes the stone plate to prevent movement of the stone plate when the stone plate is crushed by the hitters, and wherein the apparatus further comprises a sensor installed on the frame to sense that the stone plate is transferred to a preset position, and an electric circuit for driving the hitters according to sensing signals by the sensor.
