    • PURPOSE: To provide a temperature measuring method, an object detecting method and an object sensing device for a vibratory level sensor capable of reducing the number of parts to enhance reliability. CONSTITUTION: In these methods, first an electromagnet(21) is made to face magnet(22) attached to a diaphragm(23) in a sensing pipe through some Gap Field, then a drive circuit(51) is used to apply an alternating current with any frequency within the given limits centering on the resonance frequency of the diaphragm swept, to a coil for each specified measurement cycle. When this AC current is applied, a phase comparator(53) detects any phase variation arisen depending on whether an object adheres to the diaphragm or not, while a microcomputer(40) discriminates the presence of the object based on the detected phase variation as well as measuring temperature based on the phase variation detected in the first half period of the given measurement cycle, changing the frequency to be swept based on the measured result of temperature during the latter half period of the given measurement cycle.

This change is detected by a detection circuit (7), and presence/absence of the object is detected.

    • A distance measuring device, a distance measuring method, and a distance measuring program are provided to measure an object from the distance of zero meter with high precision in a restricted transmission frequency bandwidth. A distance measuring device includes a transmission source(10) outputting a transmission signal with variable frequency; a transmitting unit(20) generating the electromagnetic wave with a frequency(f) equal to the transmission signal and radiating the electromagnetic wave to an object; a detecting unit(30) detecting reflection wave(R) of the electromagnetic wave; and a signal processing unit(40) calculating the distance to the object by performing an operation of the relation between the reflected wave and the frequency of the transmission signal. The detecting unit has a detection part synchronously inspecting the reflected wave by the transmission signal and extracting phase change components of the reflection wave. The signal processing unit comprises a frequency conversion unit changing the variable frequency of the extracted phase change component at the frequency correspondent to the predetermined distance; an analysis signal generating unit(42) outputting one of high and low waves obtained by the frequency conversion unit as an analysis signal; and a Fourier transformation unit(44) computing a profile by transforming the analysis signal and calculating the distance to the object on the basis of the predetermined distance and the maximum value of the profile.
