    • PURPOSE: A hydraulic cylinder is provided to stably release the pressure of hydraulic fluid without installing a relief valve. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic cylinder comprises a tube(10), a gland(20), a rod(30), a piston(40), and a pressure releasing part(50). The bottom of the tube is closed and has an inlet port(11). The top of the tube is opened and has an outlet port(12). The gland is mounted on the opened top of the tube. The rod penetrates through the gland and is slidingly arranged inside the tube. The piston is mounted on the bottom of the rod. A piston chamber(41) is installed on the outer circumference of the piston. The pressure releasing part is formed on the inner surface of the tube. When the piston moves upward, the pressure releasing part interlocks the inlet port and the outlet port to release the pressure of the hydraulic fluid.

The piston is mounted on the bottom of the rod. A piston chamber(41) is installed in the outer circumference of the piston. The automatic oil supply part is formed on the interior of the tube at the bottom of the grand. The automatic oil supply part moves working fluid passing through the port into the grand via the piston chamber when the rod is in a top dead point.

    • The present invention relates to a rotary actuator and, more specifically, to a rotary actuator. An external tube, an axle load, and a piston are coupled together. An external tube or an axle load is rotated for a forward and backward movement of the piston. A ball bearing, a medium for converting the forward and backward movement into a rotary movement, does not follow a hemispheric groove but rotates in a fixed position. Thereby a planar pressure and friction force increases to rotate a weight body having heavy load. The rotary actuator according to the present invention forms a spiral hemispheric groove only on the outer circumference of the piston. Therefore, the manufacture is easier than a traditional one. Since the ball bearing does not move along the hemispheric groove, a high planar pressure or friction force contributes to rotating a weight body having heavier loads.

    • The present invention relates to a method for machining spirals on a rotary body for a rotary actuator and, more specifically, to a method for machining spirals on a rotary body for a rotary actuator, which machines the spirals on an outer peripheral surface of a piston for the rotary actuator by spiral machining equipment which comprises a fixing chuck to fix an end of the piston, a transfer frame, and a machining tool to machine the spirals on the outer peripheral surface of the piston. The method comprises: a first step of fixing an end of a piston to a fixing chuck such that the piston keeps horizontal; a second step of allowing a machining tool to contact an outer peripheral surface of the piston; and a third step of allowing the fixing chuck to move linearly in a longitudinal direction of the piston and allowing the machining tool to pressurize the surface of the piston, while rotating the fixing chuck. The method for machining spirals on a rotary body for a rotary actuator according to the present invention as describe above enables a stable work by fixing the machining tool vertically downwards, and fixing the rotary body in a horizontal state, and can form spirals at correct positions by adjusting the transfer of the fixing chuck and a rotating angle of the machining tool.
