CONSTITUTION: A host interface unit(101) decodes data, an address, a chip strobe signal(CSB), a read/write control signal(WRB, RDB) being transmitted to a host, transmits the data, address and signals to a register file(105), and transmits data read from the register file(105) and an interrupt signal(IRQ) being transmitted from a control unit(115) to the host. Control information and data necessary for an interface between a smart card and the host exist in the register file(105). The information is set by information being supplied from the host through a host interface unit(101), set by the control unit(115) to the host, or set by ATR(Answer to Reset) data being transmitted from a receiving unit(120). The data are supplied from the host through the host interface unit(101) in a transmission mode and supplied from the receiving unit(120) in a receiving mode.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preventing a connection to a harmful web site is provided not to let the harmful site connect to a PC(Personal Computer) user without a smart card by using the portable smart card storing the personal information. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs a web site in order to connect to a desired web site or tries to connect to the previously known web site(S21). A program installed as a firmware checks that the web site is harmful(S22). If the site is a harmful site, a warning screen is displayed on a PC screen before a regular connection(S25). If the smart card is not inserted to a smart card terminal, the connection is finished(S28) and if the smart card is inserted, the user information is confirmed by transferring the personal information stored in the smart card(S27). In case of being under age, not an owner of the PC or absent of member information of web site, the connection is automatically finished(S28). In case of an approved user, the user automatically logs in a server of harmful web site according to the personal information stored in the smart card and uses the service(S29).

    • PURPOSE: A constant current/constant voltage charging method and a voltage drop compensation method are provided to allow the lithium-ion battery to be charged in a stable manner without being damaged by the over current. CONSTITUTION: A constant current selection switch(17) selects voltages distributed by a voltage distribution voltage(22) and a constant current generating resistor(18). A voltage level-up resistor(20) raises an input voltage. An on-resistance compensation switch(19) uses MOS having the size same as the constant current selection switch so as to compensate for the on-resistance generated by the constant current selection switch. The on-resistance compensation switch is connected to a battery ground(9) through the voltage level-up resistor. A constant current/constant voltage conversion control unit(3) receives outputs from a constant current control unit and a constant voltage control unit, and controls a pass transistor(5) by selecting one of the outputs in accordance with the voltage of a lithium-ion battery(8), to thereby perform a charging operation in a constant voltage/constant current system.

A complement translator translates the read checksum to a complement of '1'(S2003). An adder adds the operated values of the pseudo header and the header area(S2004). A pseudo header area checksum processor and a header area checksum processor operate values of a pseudo header area and a header area of a packet, respectively(S2005-S2006). Another adder adds the operated values to the operated values of the receiving checksum processor, and translates the added value to '1' by another complement translator, to obtain a new checksum(S2007-S2008). A checksum insertion processor inserts the new checksum value to a newly translated TCP header, to transmit the value to an IPv6-based network(S2009).
