CONSTITUTION: A manual transmission comprises an input shaft(50) connecting to an engine with interposing a clutch; an output shaft(60) rotating with receiving power from the input shaft; a backward shaft(70) installed in parallel with the input shaft and the output shaft; a differential shaft(80) rotating a wheel; shifting gears(G11,G21,G31,G41, G51) and sub shifting gears(G12,G22,G32,G42,G52) delivering turning force of the input shaft to the output shaft; synchronizers(S12,S34,S5) deciding gear level by engaging with the shifting gear and the sub shifting gear; a backward idle gear(GR1) engaged with the shifting gear; a backward synchronizer(SR) rotating as on body with the backward idle gear; and a backward gear(GR2) engaged with the shifting gear. The manual transmission has a compact gear box by mounting the backward gear to the backward shaft installed in parallel with the input shaft and the output shaft.

    • PURPOSE: A four wheel drive device is provided to draw the vehicle with lifting front wheels and to prevent the damage of a viscose coupling and a transmission at the traction by isolating the power to the rear wheels at the traction. CONSTITUTION: Propeller shafts(12,13) are divided to the front propeller shaft(12) to be connected with an engine and the rear propeller shaft(13) to be connected with rear wheels. A power isolator comprises a driving gear(20), a driven gear(22), a sleeve(24) and an operating device. The driving gear is installed in the end of the front propeller shaft. The driven gear is installed in the back of the rear propeller shaft. The sleeve connects and releases the driving gear and the driven gear by installing between the gears to be slid. The operating device moves the sleeve rectilinearly. By isolating power to the rear wheels at the traction of a vehicle, the damage of a transmission and a viscose coupling is prevented.
