    • Provided is a yellow earth panel composition with sound absorption, lightweight, nonflammability and water resistance for use as construction interior material by using lightweight inorganic material and yellow earth as main materials. The sound-absorbing panel composition comprises 40-95wt.% of lightweight inorganic material(0.1-10mm) such as perlite, vermiculite or diatomite, 1-70wt.% of yellow earth, 0.01-10wt.% of polyester(PET) fiber, 2.5-50wt.% of liquid inorganic binder such as sodium silicate, silica sol or alumina sol, and 0.01-30wt.% of aqueous thermal-hardened phenolic resin for water resistance. The constructional panel is manufactured by the following steps of: preparing a liquid binder obtained by mixing inorganic binder and phenolic resin homogeneously; adding lightweight inorganic material, yellow earth and PET fiber to the mixed binder; and hot-pressing mixtures at 250-300deg.C under pressure of 0.1-10kgf/cm2. The resultant yellow earth panel composition is widely used as panel material for sound-absorbance, sandwich, fire door, etc.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of constructional interior and exterior materials having far infrared emission, sterilization, high thermal conductivity by using quartz porphyry powder with effective sizes unlike conventional ground quartz porphyry powder. CONSTITUTION: The constructional interior and exterior materials, containing 85-95wt.% of quartz porphyry, 4-12wt.% of neutralizer and 1-10wt.% of adhesives, are manufactured by the following steps of: (i) crushing quartz porphyry, and separating quartz porphyry according to the kinds of mica, that is, biotite , muscovite and phlogopite having more than 0.6mm, less than 0.6mm and 3-6mm in size, respectively; (ii) selecting mica with effective kinds and sizes; (iii) mixing 30-40wt.% of muscovite, 20-30wt.% of biotite and 10-20wt.% of phlogopite; (iv) adding 1-10wt.% of adhesives comprising 80-85wt.% of resin, 1-3wt.% of hardening agent such as tertiary butyl or perbenzoate, 1-2wt.% of heat accelerator, 2-3wt.% of mold release agent, and 5-10wt.% of anti-cracking agent, and then adding 4-12wt.% of neutralizer such as CaCO3 or Al(OH)3; (v) screening mixtures to keep a homogeneous state; (vi) pressing mixtures at 140-200deg.C and 750-1200Kgf/cm2 of pressure for gelling; (vii) forming gelled mixtures into required shapes and demolding; (viii) cooling; (ix) polishing formed bodies 2-6times; (x) drying at room temperature.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a method for making a panel useful as a construction material using an aggregate having various colors and patterns, in which the aggregate does not cause decolorization and discoloration even after a long time. CONSTITUTION: The method for making a panel comprises the steps of: preparing an aggregate; mixing a plastic resin with one of the prepared aggregate or a mixture thereof; and introducing the aggregate-plastic resin mixture into a mold and compressing at 90-150 deg.C by a press to form a panel having a desired size. Particularly, the aggregate preparing step comprises the steps of heating and melting a ceramic material, and cooling the molten ceramic material to crystallize it. In addition, the plastic resin is selected from the group consisting of a non-yellowing acrylic urethane resin, a polyester resin, an epoxy resin, a fluororesin, a UV resin, an acrylic resin, a PE resin and a PP resin.

    • PURPOSE: A fluorescent artificial stone composition and its preparation method are provided, to improve the luminance intensity and to enable the color to be controlled and varied by employing various pigments and dyes. CONSTITUTION: The fluorescent artificial stone composition comprises a substrate(10) and a luminescent part formed on the substrate in intaglio, wherein prominence and depression are formed under the luminescent part and at least some part of the luminescent part is a luminescent layer(30) containing a fluorescent substance. The luminescent layer is made from a slurry mixture comprising 1.0-60 wt% of a fluorescent substance, 10-70 wt% of a resin and 5-60 wt% of a curing agent. Preferably the fluorescent substance is at least one selected from the group consisting of an oxide-based fluorescent substance and a sulfide-based fluorescent substance; and the resin is selected from the group consisting of epoxy resin, methacryl resin, phenol resin, melamine resin, acryl rein, silicone resin, furan resin, urea resin, diallyl phthalate resin, petroleum resin, fluorocarbon resin, polyurethane resin and polyester resin.
