    • Disclosed are a simulator for horse riding which adaptively operates for users, and a method for simulating the horse riding. The simulator for horse riding comprises: a user identification part for identifying a user by using a user identification information according to a face of the user extracted from input images; a posture recognition part for outputting a user posture information by extracting a specific body part information of the user from the input images; a coaching part for providing the user an educational information about horse riding postures based on the user identification information and the user posture information; and an actual horseback riding sensing part for controlling the horse riding machine based on user intended postures which are output by analyzing the user posture information. Therefore, user-customized horse riding education can be provided through the identification of users and the recognition of the postures of users. In addition, an actual sensing type of simulation for horse riding can be provided by converting modes of the horse riding machine to correspond to the user intended postures.     • PURPOSE: An apparatus for executing a convenient function in a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to execute the convenient function with a simple hand gesture of a driver, thereby preventing being disturbed when executing the convenient function while driving the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(10) for executing a convenient function in a vehicle based on a driver gesture includes a gesture input unit(100), a reference gesture generating unit(200), a gesture determining unit(300), a command converting unit(400) and a function executing unit(500). The gesture input unit receives the driver gesture as an input in order to execute the convenient function in the vehicle. The reference gesture generating unit receives a reference gesture predefined according to the convenient function and stores a reference gesture model after modeling the reference gesture. The gesture determining unit compares the driver gesture inputted in the gesture input unit with the reference gesture model stored in the reference gesture generating unit and recognizes the driver gesture after distinguishing the driver gesture. The command converting unit converts the driver gesture recognized by the gesture determining unit into a command for executing a corresponding convenient function. The function executing unit executes the convenient function in the vehicle according to the command converted by the command converting unit.
