    • An air-tight stopper for the tube opening of a fire wall is provided to realize excellent flame resistance and heat resistance upon a fire accident, and to completely block flame and harmful gases introduced into the tube of a fire wall. An air-tight stopper(10) for the tube opening of a fire wall is obtained by pouring a composition into a mold and heating the composition at 150-200 deg.C for 5-30 minutes, wherein the composition comprises: 3.0-75.88 wt% of organopolysiloxane represented by the formula of RnSiO(4-n)/2 (wherein R is methyl and n is 2.0) and having an average polymerization degree of 1000-5000; 2.0-46.0 wt% of polysiloxane end-capped with hydrogen, represented by the formula of H- {Si(Me)2-O}13Si(Me)2-H, having a molecular weight of 1022 and is prepared under a nitrogen atmosphere; 20-39 wt% of fumed silica; 0.1-0.5 wt% of a flame retardant comprising at least one inorganic flame retardant selected from aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and antimony trioxide; 1.0-5.0 wt% of titanium oxide; 1.0-5.0 wt% of iron oxide; 0.01-1.0 wt% of magnesium stearate; and 0.01-0.5 wt% of platinum.

    • A flame retardant resin composition, a prepreg using the composition, and a copper clad laminate using the prepreg are provided to improve flame retardancy and heat resistance, to increase glass transition temperature and to prevent the deterioration of electrical characteristics. A flame retardant resin composition comprises a compound having a dihydrobenzoxadine ring in a molecule; an epoxy resin; a novolac or resol phenolic resin; a cyanate ester-based resin having at least two cyanate groups in a molecule; an inorganic metal-based flame retardant; and an inorganic filler. Preferably the compound having a dihydrobenzoxadine ring is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 is a C1-C6 alkyl group, a cyclohexyl group, a phenyl group, or a phenyl group substituted with a C1-C6 alkyl group or a C1-C6 alkoxy group.

    • Provided is a method for preparing a conductive flame retardant which has both flame retardancy and antistatic property and can be applied to a circuit board or fine equipment industry. The method comprises the step of doping polyaniline with potassium diphenyl sulfone sulfonate, potassium perfluorobutane sulfonate or sodium 2,3,5-trichlorophenyl sulfonate to prepare a conductive flame retardant. Preferably potassium diphenyl sulfone sulfonate, potassium perfluorobutane sulfonate or sodium 2,3,5-trichlorophenyl sulfonate is dissolved in a polar solvent selected from water, methanol, ethanol, acetone, dimethyl formaldehyde, DMF and methyl sulfoxide, and is doped into a polyaniline powder by solid-liquid reaction.
