    • PURPOSE: An electronic circuit connecting structure, and a connecting method thereof are provided to increase an integrity and fidelity of an electronic apparatus by preventing a short circuit due to a leakage of a bonding member. CONSTITUTION: An electronic circuit connecting structure includes a circuit substrate(10) having a plurality of conductive first connection lands(12) formed on a surface thereof and a flexible board(20) arranged opposite to the circuit substrate. The flexible board includes a plurality of second connection lands(24), arranged opposite to the first connection lands of the circuit substrate, and an insulating layer(26) formed so as to surround at least a portion of an outer periphery of the second connection lands. The first connection lands and the second connection lands are bonded to each other by using a bonding member(30). The thickness of the insulating layer is bigger than a total thickness of the first connection land and the second connection land.

    • In a structure for connecting terminals on wiring boards, lands on a wiring board are respectively connected with lead terminals on another wiring board through solder. Outline of each land has a bump and a recess respectively on edges facing to terminal arranging direction. Meanwhile the lead terminals are rectangular. In plan view, the recess protrudes from an edge of respective lead terminal while protrusions on ends of the recess protrude from another edge of the respective lead terminal. Even when position of the each land to the respective lead terminal deviates not so excessively, the bump and the protrusion protrude from outline of the lead terminal. Thus, on each of such protruding portions, visible fillets of the solder are formed.

The device is provided with a pair of flat circuits each having a plurality of conductors arrayed almost in parallel covered with insulation film(20). A pattern of windows(24) is formed on the film(20) of each circuit(12,14), and the conductors are made exposed at different positions in their longitudinal direction. The window(24) patterns of the two circuits come in conformity with each other when the flat circuits(12,14) are overlaid and positioned so that the conductors(18) of the circuits come in a given angle with each other. The conductors(18) of the both circuits are electrically connected with each other through the windows(24).

    • PURPOSE: A display device is provided to increase the screen size by providing a short driving wiring eliminating a voltage drop caused by the resistance of the driving wiring to provide for stable driving of the display devices. CONSTITUTION: A display apparatus comprises a panel substrate(2) as a display screen, a plurality of display devices arranged in a matrix configuration on a surface of the panel substrate opposite to the panel substrate surface operating as a display screen, and a drive circuit substrate arranged on the panel substrate and having a drive circuit for driving each display element. An area of the panel substrate carrying the display devices is sub-divided into a plurality of sub-areas by a plurality of driving lines adapted for driving the display devices. A plurality of the drive circuit substrates associated with the sub-areas is provided. The drive circuit substrates are arranged on the surface of the panel substrate carrying the display devices and are connected with bumps to the display devices through terminals. The drive circuit substrates are interconnected in cascade connection to drive the display devices responsive to picture signals supplied from a signal furnishing device.
