    • PURPOSE: A path length correction apparatus and a method for changing a laser beam mode of a laser generator are provided to correct the length of an optical path while minimizing the time when laser beam output is abnormal. CONSTITUTION: In a path length correction apparatus and a method for changing a laser beam mode of a laser generator, a preamplifier(210) amplifies a laser beam detected through a rectifier. A high pass filter(230) extracts only the signal which is modulated in the laser beam. A demodulator(240) detects an error value of the optical path length. An integrator(250) outputs control voltage applied to a piezo. An integrator output compensator(260) combines a mode change offset voltage with an integration value.

The filler metal consists of Sn of 5~10wt.%, Ca of 15~20wt.%, and Pb of 70~80wt.%. The filler metal of Sn, Can, and Pb is produced by heating Sn, Ca, and Pb up to 250°C for two and a half hour by increasing the temperature by 50°C every 30 minutes while continuously keeping initial vacuum degree below 1*10^-3torr.

The direct operating shaft rotation restricting device prevents the rotation of the direct operating shaft and induces straight line motion of the direct operating shaft.
