    • Primer sets specific to an oil-degrading bacterium, Nocardia sp. H17-1 and a monitoring method of the bacterium by using the same primer sets are provided to control and monitor the oil-degrading bacterium applied to the oil-polluted environments, so that purification efficiency of the oil-degrading bacterium is increased. The primer set specific to an oil-degrading bacterium, Nocardia sp. H17-1 comprises (i) the primers of SEQ ID NO:1 and SEQ ID NO:3 or (ii) the primers of SEQ ID NO:2 and SEQ ID NO:3, wherein the oil-degrading bacterium, Nocardia sp. H17-1 is isolated from the oil-polluted soil. The oil-degrading bacterium, Nocardia sp. H17-1 is monitored by performing real time PCR comprising pre-denaturation step, denaturation step, annealing step, extention step and final extention step using the primer set specific to Nocardia sp. H17-1, SYBR green 1 and hot-start polymerase, wherein the hot-start polymerase is Tbr DNA polymerase derived from Thermus brockianus; and the annealing temperature is 55-65 deg. C.
