CONSTITUTION: A flexible drum(40) is arranged in the internal space of a frame for tumbling wet laundry. A gear-type protrusion(43) is formed in the outer circumference of the flexible drum. A drum driving unit(60) is arranged in a location meshed with the gear. The drum drive unit revolves the flexible drum. A rotation guide unit(50) is arranged in the internal space. The rotation of the flexible drum is guided while the rotation guide part keeps the rotation route of the flexible drum.

    • PURPOSE: A drying control method of a washing machine is provided to mix laundry by rotating a drum in a first speed and to evenly disperse the mixed laundry by rotating the drum in a second speed. CONSTITUTION: A dry control method of a washing machine comprises the following steps. High temperature and dry air is supplied into a drum which accommodates washed laundry(S10). The drum is rotated at a predetermined first speed while supplying the high temperature and dry air(S52). The drum is rotated at a second speed which is faster than the first speed in order to evenly disperse the laundry in the drum after the drum rotates at the first speed which is 45rpm(S53). The second speed rotating stage is repetitively operated.

The control part decreases the number of rotations of the motor after primary dehydration at the number of set rotations, and progresses a secondary dehydration which increases the number of set rotations again. The control part supplies the hot wind in the inner part of the drum by controlling the hot wind supply device between the primary dehydration and the secondary dehydration.

    • A drum type drying machine is provided to dry different kinds of laundries at once without damage and to reduce drying time by dividing an internal part of the drum according to the types of the laundry and regulating heated air flowing into each divided part of the drum. A drum type drying machine comprises a drum member(3), a drying drum(10), an air discharging rod(20); a moving drum separation plate(30), and a discharged air flow control valve unit. The drum member is installed in a body casing(2) and opened by a drum door(3a). A plurality of lifters(11) is projected at an inner circumferential surface of the drying drum with regular intervals to lifting off and dropping the laundry. The air discharging rod is horizontally projected from one side of the drying drum. A plurality of air holes(21) is drilled at a periphery of the air discharging rod to discharge heated air into the drying drum. The moving drum separation plate is movably connected with the air discharging rod to divide an internal part of the drying drum. The air discharging rod includes the discharged air flow control valve unit for controlling heated air flow discharged to the air holes, therefore the laundry can be dried without damage.
