    • PURPOSE: To establish a technology reducing particulate matter without being affected by sulfur or the like in fuel. CONSTITUTION: Particulate matter of large diameter is separated with using a cyclone and particulate matter of smaller diameter is removed by electrostatic precipitation without being affected by sulfur or the like. Next, NOx is separated by using barrier electrical discharge or the like. NO in NOx is completely oxidized to NO2 which is required for decomposing particulate matter by using an anodized electrode of aluminum or titanium or the like, or NO2 required for oxidation of particle at low temperature around 300°C is generated in real time. In this catalyst technology, particulate matter is decomposed at a low temperature around 300°C with using little rear metal by using NO2 generated by electrical discharge and ozone simultaneously generated in an oxygen atmosphere and active oxygen as oxidizing agents. For technology performing treatment in real time with following operation condition of an engine, a bypass flow passage hydraulically combined with an interference chamber and an exhaust gas main flow passage to equalize concentration of polluted gas.
