Both ends of the first roller unit are rotationally coupled to a support table. The driving motor rotates the first roller. The second roller unit is arranged in parallel to the first roller and is freely rotated by the slabs. The control part controls the operation of the driving motor.

    • PURPOSE: A furnace for a rolling mill is provided to prevent outside air from flowing into the inside of the furnace through an outlet when a workpiece is ejected to the outside of the furnace, thereby improving thermal efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A furnace for a rolling mill comprises a main body(10), a door(20), and a blocking part(30). An outlet(11) is formed on the main body. The door installed at the outlet is capable of being opened and closed. The blocking part prevents outside air from flowing into the inside of the furnace through the outlet. The blocking part includes a blocking curtain which covers the outlet, and a fixing part which connects the blocking curtain to the outlet. The blocking curtain is fire-resistant and elastic. A stepped portion is formed at the outlet so that the outlet is placed to be internally concave against the outer wall of the main body. The fixing part includes an inserting groove formed at the outlet, and a pressurizing member. The pressurizing member inserted into the inserting groove restrains the blocking curtain. Fixing grooves are formed at the inserting groove. Fixing protrusions formed at the pressurizing member opposed to the fixing grooves penetrate the blocking curtain, and are pressed in the fixing grooves.

The cylinder rod of the hydraulic cylinder is protruded to the lower and upper side of the hydraulic cylinder. The door is connected to the lower side of the cylinder rod. The sensor senses the upper end of the cylinder rod.

The lower gradient adjusting block is installed to be rotated around a moving shaft(23a) while being supported by fixing frames(26,27) in both sides of an upper surface of the precision T-bar. A worm(22) is formed in the lower surface of the lower gradient adjusting block. The worm gear is fixed and installed on the top surface of the precision T-bar, thereby being gear-joined to the worm of the lower gradient adjusting block. A location of the upper gradient adjusting block is adjustable to a direction perpendicular to a moving direction of the lower gradient adjusting block in the upper part of the lower gradient adjusting block. The precision level is mounted on the top surface of the upper gradient adjusting block.

The extraction door driving unit vertically moves the extraction door. The contact guiding unit is arranged in the extraction stage and generates electromagnetic force to pull the extraction door toward the extraction stage. The control unit controls the operation of the extraction door driving unit and the contact guiding unit.
