    • PURPOSE: A millimeter wave transmission line is provided to reduce a phase velocity of an electromagnetic signal by increasing self-inductance and capacitance between a ground plate and a transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric material layer(40) is formed on a substrate(10). A metal transmission line is embedded in the dielectric material layer and includes a first transmission line and a second transmission line. The first transmission line has a first width. The second transmission line has a second width. The first transmission line parts and the second transmission line parts are alternately interlaced. A ground metal plane(50) is located on the dielectric material layer and is vertically separated from the metal transmission line.

    • PURPOSE: An H-slot flat micro strip antenna is provided to have a wide band, facilitate an impedance matching, reduce adverse effect of an electromagnetic wave on a human body, and improve emissivity. CONSTITUTION: A micro strip H-slot is formed in parallel to a side surface of a metal plate. A feed line supplies a predetermined power to the H-slot and inputs a receiving signal. A lateral line of the H-slot is shaped like a sawtooth and a length the H-slot is 1/4 of an electromagnetic wave length. A slot length is λ/4. By virtue of the electromagnetic coupling, wide band features and superior impedance matching are achievable, emissivity is excellent and a strong electric wave is emitted. The H-slot flat micro strip antenna is mountable on an inside of a terminal in place of an existing solid helical antenna. Further, the H-slot flat micro strip antenna is embedded on an upper end part within the terminal so as to minimize an adverse effect of an electromagnetic wave, maximize antenna efficiency and attain a small sized and light weighed antenna.

    • PURPOSE: A zigzag micro strip patch antenna with one element is provided to reduce adverse effect of an electromagnetic wave on a human body, improve emissivity, and reduce size and weight of a portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: An RT-duroid 5880 substrate(10) is formed of polytetrafluoroethylene for glass micro fiber reinforcement and has a high permittivity of 2.33. A zigzag patch(20) is formed of a conductive metal installed on an upper surface of the substrate(10) by a photosensitive method. A triangular pad(30) is a conductive metal and formed on a side of the patch. L1 is 5mm. Length of the patch is 15mm and diameter of the patch is 12mm. An interval between turns of the patch is 3.5mm and a pitch angle is 16.59°. Thickness of the strip is 0.3mm. A zigzag antenna with one element is mountable on an inside of a terminal as stated above, such that emitted patterns, gains, and bands are improved, adverse effect of an electromagnetic wave on a user's head is minimized, and size and weight reduction of antenna is achieved.
