      즉, 속이 빈 다공성의 메달을 성형하기 위한 상, 하측 주형에 설계된 메달 형상에 부합되는 음각부를 각각 형성하고, 상기 음각부에 의해 형성된 공간에 분해가 용이한 소재로 만들어진 채움재를 삽입하여 그 채움재의 외면과 음각부의 내면 사이에 용탕이 주입되는 공극부가 형성되며, 상하측 주형의 접합면에 용탕을 공급하기 위한 탕도가 형성되어 탕도를 통해 상하측 주형의 공극부에 용탕이 주입 및 응고되어 성형을 완료한 후 성형물의 내부에 채워진 채움재는 물 또는 용액중에서 부풀린 후 공기압을 이용하여 성형시 잔류물과 함께 제거함으로써, 이음매가 없이 일체로 성형된 속이 빈 다공성 장신구를 얻게 된 것이다.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing open-cell type metal foam by metal powder sintering process, wherein the method is capable of easily manufacturing open-cell type metal foam due to less facility cost and simpler operation process compared with conventional casting, powder metallurgy and plating processes. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing open-cell type metal foam by metal powder sintering process comprises the steps of: preparing a mixed slurry by adding polyvinyl alcohol to metal powder; drying the mixed slurry inserted into polyurethane foam after putting cut polyurethane foam into the mixed slurry such that the mixed slurry is inserted into polyurethane foam; dipping the mixed slurry contained polyurethane foam into liquid phase urethane resin, uniformly coating the metal powder on the liquid phase urethane resin coated polyurethane foam, and drying the metal powder covered polyurethane foam; putting the metal powder coated polyurethane foam containing the mixed slurry into a furnace, and burning the metal powder coated polyurethane foam at 500 deg.C for 30 minutes; and sintering a remained shape of the burnt metal powder coated polyurethane foam in an electric furnace.

    • PURPOSE: An aluminum alloy material for foaming is provided which is inexpensively manufactured using waste aluminum and aluminum alloy scrap, obtains uniformed pore size and distribution by increasing viscosity and strength of aluminum alloy and obtains superior physical properties, and a method for manufacturing the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy material for foaming comprises the step (a) of preparing aluminum alloy powder for foaming using centrifugal atomization; the step (b) of preparing mixed powder with a stone mill mixer by mixing additive powder and foaming agent powder with the powder of the step (a); the step (c) of preparing mixed powder green by compressing the mixed powder of the step (b) using a compressor; and the step (d) of hot extruding the mixed powder green of the step (c), wherein the centrifugal atomization is carried out to manufacture rapid solidified acicular aluminum alloy powder having a size of 80 to 700 micrometers by charging molten aluminum into a tundish and flowing out the molten aluminum to the lower side through a nozzle at the lower part of the tundish so that the molten aluminum is dropped onto the center of a flat rotor installed under the nozzle, thereby centrifugally dispersing the molten aluminum.
