    • A method for continuous casting of stainless steel is provided to prevent the quality of a casting slab from being deteriorated in the later stage of continuous-continuous casting by controlling the growth of slag bear in a mold in a laser stage of continuous-continuous casting, and improve the surface quality of a continuous cast slab through the application of an optimal submersion depth according to casting width. In a method for continuous casting of a stainless steel by performing continuous-continuous casting n times, the n being a natural number, the method comprises: a casting width determining step(S10) of determining a casting width of the stainless steel; a submersion depth setting step of setting up a submersion depth of a submerged nozzle according to the determined casting width; and a molten steel surface controlling step(S30) of varying a molten steel surface into which the submerged nozzle is submerged. The submersion depth setting step comprises a step(S21) of controlling the submersion depth of the submerged nozzle to 95 to 115 mm when the determined casting width is 1000 to 1100 mm, and a step(S22) of controlling the submersion depth of the submerged nozzle to 110 to 130 mm when the determined casting width is 1100 to 1300 mm.
