    • PURPOSE: An RF(Radio Frequency) switching module is provided to reduce the number of components applied to RF switching for dividing a frequency band signal and transmitting and receiving the divided frequency band signals. CONSTITUTION: A diplexer(501) connects to an antenna(ANT), and separates the first frequency band signal and the second frequency band signal. The first SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave) filter(505) passes the first frequency band signal received from the diplexer(501). A phase converter(504) is operated so that a transmission signal with the first frequency band is not received in the first frequency band signal received from the diplexer(501). The SAW filter(506) passes the second frequency band signal received from the diplexer(501). The first LPF(502) passes the transmission signal with the first frequency band by the first frequency band transmitting unit. The second LPF(503) passes a transmission signal with the second frequency band by the second frequency band transmitting unit. A choke coil(507) blocks an RF signal received through the antenna(ANT).

    • A passive device and module for a transceiver, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The passive device includes a semiconductor or a dielectric substrate, at least one capacitor, at least one inductor, a viahole, a metal electrode, radio frequency signals, a radio frequency ground, a packaging substrate. The at least one capacitor is formed on a first surface of the substrate. The at least one inductor is formed on a second surface of the substrate that is opposite to the first surface. The viahole penetrates through the substrate. The metal electrode is formed on the viahole and electrically connects the capacitor on the first surface and the inductor on the second surface. Radio frequency signals are for the inductor and the capacitor. The radio frequency ground is formed on the substrate and isolated from the radio frequency signals. The packaging substrate is bonded on the first surface or the second surface of the substrate, having a cavity covering a structure on the bonded surface of the substrate. A reduction in the area required for mounting passive devices and modules thereof contributes to the downsizing of communication systems. Also, use of MEMS technique can reduce insertion loss of inductors, which improves the communication quality of the communication systems.

    • PURPOSE: Passive devices and modules for transceiver are provided to contribute to miniaturization of a communication terminal by reducing a mounting area, and to decrease insertion loss of an inductor by using a microelectromechanical system(MEMS). At least one inductor(140) is formed on the second surface opposite to the first surface. A via hole(150) penetrating the substrate is formed. A metal electrode electrically connects the capacitor on the first surface with the inductor on the second surface, formed in the via hole. Radio frequency(RF) signal lines for the inductor and the capacitor are formed. An RF ground is formed on the substrate, isolated from the signal lines. A packaging substrate(160) protects the structure formed on the first or second surface, connected to the first or second surface.

    • PURPOSE: A band pass filter circuit is provided to be able to generate an image trap frequency varied according to a channel in order to remove an image frequency. CONSTITUTION: A band pass filter circuit comprises resistors(10,60,110), voltage controlled diodes(20,70,100), blocking capacitors(30,50,90) and inductances(40,80). The resistors(10,60,110) are connected in series to tuning voltage terminals(Vt), respectively, and limit currents from the corresponding tuning voltage terminals. The voltage controlled diodes(20,70,100) are connected in parallel with the inductances(40,80), and generate a resonance frequency and an image trap frequency. Capacitance values of the voltage controlled diodes(20,70,100) are varied according to corresponding tuning voltages(Vt). The blocking capacitors(30,50,90) interrupt currents from corresponding tuning voltage terminals to the inductances(40,80). The inductances(40,80) are connected in parallel with the voltage controlled diodes(20,70,100), and generate a resonance frequency and an image trap frequency.
