    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of gypsum boards using by-product of leather is provided to improve adhesion between fiber, moldability, shape stability, physical strength, etc by chemically bonding by using binding materials after beating shaving scrap by physical method. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of gypsum boards comprises: a step of micronizing shaving scrap which is a by-product of a leather; a step of storing the micronized shaving scrap; a step of mixing the shaving scrap and SB(Styrene Butadiene) latex which has high glass transition temperature; a step of manufacturing a plate shaped board in which shaving scrap and SB latex is mixed; a step of removing the moisture of the plate shaped board; a step of drying the plate shaped board; and a step of compression molding the plate shaped board to fit for the standard of a gypsum board.

    • PURPOSE: Provided are a waterproof, water-permeative and antibacterial leather with functionality and a method for producing the leather. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises (i) immersing hide subjected to soaking, liming, deliming, and bating processes in formic acid so as the pH of the hide to be 2.0-3.5, and treating the hide with 450-1,800 ppm(based on weight of raw leather) of antimicrobial of CMK type for 1 hour; (ii) treating the material resulting from the step(i) with chromium to mineralize an animal origin material on the fiber, and treating the resulting material with 450-1,800 ppm(based on weight of raw leather) of antimicrobial of TCMTB type for 1 hour; and (iii) neutralizing the material resulting from the step (ii) to increase a pH of the material to 5.0-6.5, and treating the material with 450-1,800 ppm(based on weight of active ingredients) of antimicrobial of OITZ type for 1 hour to impart an antibiosis to the material.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing light weight leather, which has the excellent sense of wearing, activity and functional property, and is applicable for in shoes, clothes and bags, and then the process is simple, and then density is low without being changed property of natural leather. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of: i) adding one or mixture of 0.1-10% of a nitrogen deliming agent and 0.1-3.0% of a nitrogen free deliming agent to a pelt, and deliming the pelt for 10-240min in a drum; ii) adding 0.1-3.0% of protease to in the drum, and rotating it to remove unstructured protein and fat for 10-180min; iii) adding 1.0-2.0% of chrome sulfate powder, 0.1-3.0% of a tanning branching agent and 0.1-1.5% of a basicity synergist, and tanning it for 1-10hrs.; iv) adding 1.0-2.0% of chrome powder to the tanned leather to neutralize, followed by applying 0.1-3.0% an acid bating agent for 10-120min.; v) mixing 0.1-10.0% of an acrylic synthetic tanning agent, 0.1-10% of a polymer tanning agent and 0.1-3% of a polyurethane binder, and dye-branching it for 10-240min.; and then vi) coating it with a top-coating.
