    • PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing a lithium battery which improves life and high temperature environment properties, and inhibits an expansion of the battery, by uniformly impregnating the battery with electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (i) applying a mixture of active material and binder on cathode and anode collectors to form a cathode plate and an anode plate; (ii) laminating the plates on both sides of the separator to form a battery cell having a predetermined shape; (iii) putting the battery cell in a battery case, and injecting an electrolyte into the case; (iv) aging a battery pack; and (v) firing the pack, wherein the aging step is effected at high temperature.

    • PURPOSE: A lithium secondary battery is provided, which dose not need the step of extracting an organic solvent for removing a plasticizer and has a reduced interfacial resistance between each electrode and a separator. CONSTITUTION: The lithium secondary battery comprises: a cathode and an anode produced by forming active material layers on current collectors by using electrode active material compositions containing electrode active materials, binders, acetone, and ethanol, wherein pores are formed on the cathode and the anode by removing the ethanol; the separator not forming pores, which contains 100pts.wt. of a polymer resin, 5-60pts.wt. of at least one plasticizer selected from the group consisting of dialkyl carbonate, alkylene carbonate, and dialkoxy ethane, and 10-50pts.wt. of at least one inorganic filler selected from the group consisting of alumina, silica, and kaolin. The separator is laminated between the cathode and the anode.
