The boiler combusts fuel to generate exhaust gas. The exhaust gas extraction pipe extracts the exhaust gas generated by the boiler. The scrubber cools and refines the exhaust gas extracted by the exhaust gas extraction pipe. The blower draws in inert gas discharged from the scrubber and supplies the inert gas to an oil storage tank(160). The inert gas flow control valve is arranged between the scrubber and the blower and controls the pressure of an inert gas pipe arranged between the scrubber and the blower. CONSTITUTION: A two-drum type boiler for a ship comprises a body(1), a water drum(3), a steam drum(4), and a burner(2). A plurality of bank tubes(5) is embedded in the body. The water drum is arranged in the lower part of the body and stores water. The steam drum is arranged in the upper part of the body and steam generated from the water flows into the steam drum. The burner unit supplies flames to the inside of the body. A plurality of heat-radiating pins(6) is formed in the bank tubes. The water of the water drum is evaporated by heat provided by the flames of the burner unit and the steam is sent to the steam drum through the heat radiating pines. A heat exchanging area of an exterior surface is enlarged by the radiating pins.

    • PURPOSE: An inert gas generator for an oil or LNG/LPG carrier is provided to improve work efficiency and productivity in building a ship by being used in common for different types of ship. CONSTITUTION: An inert gas generator for an oil or LNG/LPG carrier comprises a scrubber(100), a fuel supply part(200), an air supply part(300), a plurality of boilers(400), a delivery line(500), a blower(502), and a deck water seal(504). The scrubber creates inert gas by cooling and refining exhaust gas. The air supply part is connected to the combustion chamber of the scrubber and supplies air for combustion. The boilers are connected to the inner bottom of the scrubber with a spectacle flange(404) and supply exhaust gas. The delivery line transmits the inert gas exhausted from the scrubber to an oil storage tank of a ship. The blower is installed on the delivery line to force the inert gas toward the oil storage tank. The deck water seal prevents the backflow of the inert gas transmitted to the oil storage tank.
