    • PURPOSE: A finely pulverized pigment, its preparation method, a coloring composition containing the pigment, a coloring method using the composition and its use are provided, to obtain the transparency and the clearness equal to those of a dye and to improve the dispersibility, the weather resistance, the heat resistance and the light fastness. CONSTITUTION: The finely pulverized pigment comprises 95 % or more of a primary particle having a diameter of 0.1 micrometers or less; and the balance of a primary particle having a diameter above 0.1 micrometers. Preferably the number ratio of a primary particle having a diameter below 0.02 micrometers is 10 % or less. The finely pulverized pigment is prepared by pulverizing a pigment with a water-soluble inorganic salt and a water-soluble inorganic solvent at 30-90 deg.C for 2-6 hours; and removing the water-soluble inorganic salt and the water-soluble inorganic solvent. The coloring composition comprises the finely pulverized pigment dispersed in a dispersion medium.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing a green pigment is provided, which does not contain lead and chromium which is toxic to the human body and pollutant, and is used as a pigment having dark, medium or light green for a paint or plastic. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of injecting the pigment composition into a machine; pulverizing the composition; and mixing, examining and packing it. The composition comprises 50 wt% of yellow iron oxide, 30 wt% of titanium dioxide and 20 wt% of cyanine green in the case of dark green. The composition comprises 55 wt% of yellow iron oxide, 30 wt% of titanium dioxide and 15 wt% of cyanine green in the case of medium green. The composition comprises 60 wt% of yellow iron oxide, 30 wt% of titanium dioxide and 10 wt% of cyanine green in the case of light green.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a universally applicable, cost-effective, technically reliable and economic process for preparing pigment preparations on the basis of pigments of different classes and different flocculation-stabilizing liquid media for various fields of use, which allows unproblematic scaleup while preventing any possibility of contamination by extraneous substances. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing liquid pigment preparations comprises spraying a from 10 to 80 wt.% suspension of a crude pigment, prepigment and/or pigment, based on the overall weight of the suspension, in a flocculation-stabilizing liquid medium through nozzles to a point of conjoint collision in a reactor chamber enclosed by a housing in a microjet reactor. A gas or an evaporating liquid is passed into the reactor chamber through an opening in the housing for the purpose of maintaining a gas atmosphere in the reactor chamber, and the resulting liquid pigment preparation and the gas or the evaporated liquid are removed from the reactor through a further opening in the housing by means of overpressure on the gas entry side or underpressure on the product and gas exit side.
