    • PURPOSE: An operation information providing system of a PBX(Private Branch Exchange) is provided to allow a user to receive statistics information, monitoring information or diagnosis information of a private exchange through a browser of a PC without installation of a program. CONSTITUTION: An operation information web server(102) receives various operation information of a PBX(100) through a CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) interface(108) and stores it. The information includes statistics information, monitoring information on a current call proceeding state, information on a state of a system, and information related to alarm and failure. A client PC(106) is connected to the operation information web server(102) by using a web by a user, and the user requests the operation information from the operation information web server(102). Upon receiving the request for the operation information, the operation information web server(102) makes the requested information as an HTML file and transfers it to the client PC(106). The client PC(106) receives the HTML file and displays it through a monitor. Then, the user can view the operation information of the PBX(100) through a web browser anywhere.

    • A method for providing a personal information management service over a communication network. A user accesses a communication gateway (30) using a communication terminal (10), and the communication gateway (30) identifies the user using an automatic number identification service. If the user selects a desired service menu using the communication terminal (10), the communication gateway (30) transfers information about the service menu selected by the user to a database server (70). The database server (70) retrieves personal information previously stored therein by the user according to the service menu selected by the user and transfers the retrieved personal information to the communication gateway (30). Then, the communication gateway (30) restores the personal information retrieved by the database server (70) into character or voice data and sends the restored character or voice data to the communication terminal (10). Therefore, the personal information can be prevented from being externally exposed when the personal information management service is provided to the user. Further, the personal information management service can be economically provided to the user.
