    • PURPOSE: An electric propulsion ship using solar cells is provided to directly charge DC electric energy provided from solar cell modules without converting into AC and to make an uneven voltage of a photovoltaic facility to a constant voltage so that a storage battery can be charged. CONSTITUTION: An electric propulsion ship using a solar comprises solar cell modules(10), a storage battery(30), a charging control board(20), and a propelling motor(40). The storage battery is electrically connected to the solar cell modules in parallel to store DC electric energy which is provided from the solar cell modules. The charging control board is electrically connected to the solar cell modules and the storage battery in order to control a DC voltage so that the DC electric energy can be directly charged to the storage battery. The charging control board makes the uneven voltage of the solar cell modules to the constant voltage which can charge the storage battery. The propelling motor generates rotation power using the electric energy of the storage battery.     • A solar cell system for a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to maximize power use of a solar cell by usually operating a constant-voltage device by an auxiliary battery although the solar cell generates a low voltage. A solar cell system for a vehicle includes a solar cell(1), a main battery(3) of vehicle, an auxiliary battery(2), a variation voltage device(20), a constant voltage device(10), and a power division means(5). The solar cell converts solar energy into electric energy to generate power. The main battery is connected to the solar cell through a first switch(6). The auxiliary battery is connected to the solar cell through a second switch, is connected to the main battery through the first switch and the second switch, and stores surplus power of the solar cell or the main battery. The variation voltage device is connected to the solar cell through a first switch(8), is connected to the main battery through the first switch and the third switch, and operates even during voltage variation.

    • PURPOSE: A necklace antenna having a charging device in a portable TV phone is provided to present a charging device using a solar cell installed at a necklace antenna in a portable TV phone. CONSTITUTION: A solar cell(121), converting solar energy into electricity directly, generates a power of 3V and 35mA at 200lux. The current obtained through the solar cell(121) is stored in a battery(123), which can be charged with 14V, 30mA current. A diode(122) prevents the current stored in the battery(123) from being reversed. A power switch(124) activates an amplifier(128) when a TV mode is executed. If the power switch(124) is operated, the current stored in the battery(123) activates the amplifier(128) to amplify a signal inputted from an antenna(110). A bypass filter(125) removes ripple current from the DC current of the battery(123) outputted when the power switch(124) works.
