    • Ultra-high strength steel sheets for automobile body parts are provided to obtain good formability and high strength level by harmonizing components Mn and Si contained in steel sheets, thereby increasing strength of the steel sheets substantially and improving other mechanical properties of the steel sheets, and a method for manufacturing the same is provided. An ultra-high strength steel sheet comprises 0.12 to 0.20 wt.% of carbon(C), 0.15 to 0.65 wt.% of silicon(Si), 2.0 to 3.5 wt.% of manganese(Mn), 0.012 to 3.0 wt.% of aluminum(Al), 0.02 to 0.04 wt.% of titanium(Ti), 0.02 to 0.07 wt.% of niobium(Nb), 0.020 wt.% or less of phosphorous(P), 0.001 to 0.002 wt.% of sulfur(S), and the balance of iron(Fe) and other inevitable impurities, wherein matrix structure of steel of the ultra-high strength steel sheet consists of a composite phase of ferrite, martensite and bainite. A method for manufacturing an ultra-high strength steel sheet comprises: melting a steel sheet composition comprising 0.12 to 0.20 wt.% of carbon(C), 0.15 to 0.65 wt.% of silicon(Si), 2.0 to 3.5 wt.% of manganese(Mn), 0.012 to 3.0 wt.% of aluminum(Al), 0.02 to 0.04 wt.% of titanium(Ti), 0.02 to 0.07 wt.% of niobium(Nb), 0.020 wt.% or less of phosphorous(P), 0.001 to 0.002 wt.% of sulfur(S), and the balance of iron(Fe) and other inevitable impurities; continuously casting the molten steel into a slab; hot-rolling the slab at 1100 to 1300 deg.C; rapidly cooling the hot-rolled steel sheet, and coiling the cooled steel sheet at 600 to 900 deg.C.

CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing reinforcement in a bumper(10) of a vehicle is composed of an upper beam(22) bent horizontally and extended in the lower part; a lower beam(26) bent horizontally and inward and extended in the upper part, and separated from the upper beam; a middle beam(24) combined with bent extension parts(22a,26a) of upper and lower beams, and installed between upper and lower beams; and a reinforcement beam(23) contacted to the upper face of the upper beam to support the upper part of the upper beam in the upper beam. The upper part of the bumper is prevented from sinking backward with supporting the upper part of the upper beam by the reinforcement beam at a collision.
