    • PURPOSE: System and method of assembling and controlling blocks for a ship are provided to reduce the process time by analyzing errors in real time in a process of assembling blocks for a ship and applying the movement of the blocks. CONSTITUTION: A system for assembling and controlling blocks for a ship comprises a plurality of light wave units(31-33), and a control unit(40). The light wave units are arranged on a plurality of starting points to measure the locations of a plurality of measuring points of the blocks. The control unit receives the location information of the measuring points from the light wave units, calculate a plurality of measuring coordinates corresponding to the measuring points of the blocks, and calculate movement according to a difference value between a plurality design coordinates corresponding to the measuring coordinates.
