    • A method for analyzing digital-sounds using sound-information of instruments and/or score-information is provided. Particularly, sound-information of instruments which were used or which are being used to generate input digital-sounds is used. Alternatively, in addition to the sound-information, score-information which were used or which are being used to generate the input digital-sounds is also used. According to the method, sound-information including pitches and strengths of notes performed on instruments used to generate the input digital-sounds is stored in advance so that monophonic or polyphonic pitches performed on the instruments can be easily analyzed. Since the sound-information of instruments and the score-information are used together, the input digital-sounds can be accurately analyzed and output as quantitative data.

    • PURPOSE: A music sound separating device using time and frequency features and a method thereof are provided to reconfigure mixed signal by target sound sources and remaining sound sources using features of sound sources which are temporally repeated while directly using sound source information. CONSTITUTION: A previous information signal compressing unit(110) compresses a previous information signal including features of a specific sound source. A mixed signal separating unit(120) separates mixed signals including sound sources into a plurality of segments. An NMPCF(Nonnegative Matrix Co-Factorization) analyzing unit(130) applies an NMPCF algorithm to the mixed signal and the previous information signal. The NMPCF analyzing unit obtains shared information between the segments. A target musical instrument signal separating unit(140) separates a target musical instrument signal corresponding to the specific sound source from the mixed signal.

    • PURPOSE: A melody line decision method from melody pitch candidates on the basis of the property of a melody line is provided for N melody pitch candidates and each melody pitch candidate to efficiently determine a melody line on the basis of physical properties of the melody line. CONSTITUTION: A system is input information about N melody pitch candidates and weight which the melody pitch candidate has in each frame(S10). In a start frame, the system selects N melody pitch candidates and arrays the candidate in a weight descending order(S40). The system determines whether two neighbor melody pitch candidates satisfy set melody line standards(S50). The system selects N melody line candidates through a melody line connection in each melody section(S60). The system selects an optimal melody line(S70).
