    • An electro-optical device, a driving circuit thereof, a driving method thereof, and an electronic apparatus using the electro-optical device are provided to suppress the generation of lateral crosstalk by a simple configuration. A driving circuit of an electro-optical device drives a pixel(116) prepared at each cross point of a plurality of scan lines(312) and a plurality of data lines(212). A scan line driving circuit(350) selects each of the plurality of scan lines in sequence, and applies a selection voltage to the selected scan line. A data line driving circuit(250) performs a leading edge driving or a trailing edge driving as to each of the plurality of data lines. The data driving circuit drives each data line belonging to the first group of the data lines by one of the leading edge driving or the trailing edge driving, and drives each data line belonging to the second group of the data lines by the other driving. The driving method of each data line is changed from the leading edge driving to the trailing edge driving in turn until the selection voltage is applied to a scan line corresponding to one pixel.

    • PURPOSE: A thin film transistor for supplying a power to an electroluminescent(EL) element is provided to alleviate a characteristic deviation of a transistor supplying a power to a driving device such as an organic EL element and to prevent a radiation luminescent from deviating in the driving device by averaging a deviation of power supplying to the driving device. CONSTITUTION: Each pixel includes a first TFT(10), a storage capacitor(Cs), two pch-second TFTs(24), two nch-compensation TFTs(34) which are diode-connected between the power supply line(VL) and the second TFTs(24), and an organic EL element(50) connected to the drains of the second TFTs(24). A pixel is placed in the region surrounded by a gate line(GL) extending in the row direction and a power supply line(VL) and a data line(DL) both extending in the column direction. A delta arrangement is employed for realizing a more high resolution color display device wherein the positions for R, G and B pixels are shifted at each row, and consequently, the data line(DL) and the power supply line(VL) are not straight, but extend in the column direction through the gap between pixels having positions shifted for each row.
