    • PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for acquiring an ultra-fast GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) initial position with peer assistance and a recording medium thereof are provided to get over various restrictions on a region of A-GPS or a domain by being implemented only with direct communication between two GPS receivers regardless of a mobile communication network. CONSTITUTION: A communication module(342) receives help information generated in a master terminal. A calculation processor(331) calculates a pseudo range by using a detection result of a GPS satellite signal from a GPS receiver. The calculation processor calculating uses the location of a slave terminal by using the help information and the pseudo range. The GPS receiver detects the GPS satellite signal based on the help information. The GPS receiver detects and traces the GPS satellite signal based on in the location of the slave terminal.

    • A mobile communication terminal for offering location information and a method therefor are provided to enable a mobile communication terminal to receive location information of the terminal by using 3 pieces of base station location information of a mobile communication network, thereby receiving seamless location information. A channel receiver(110) receives neighboring base station ID information and location information from linked base stations when a channel is captured. A signal attribute detector(131) measures phases and reception strength of pilot signals sent from the neighboring base stations, and extracts 2 neighboring base stations having large pilot signal reception strength. A location calculator(135) calculates a location of a terminal(100) by using the location information of the linked base stations and the 2 neighboring base stations. A controller(130) sets the calculated location of the terminal to location information of the terminal.
