An upper shutter(12) is inserted in upper side of top flame flowing path. A lower shutter(25) is inserted into the lower part of the bottom flame flowing path.

    • An electric furnace linked with amount of electric power is provided to reduce the power production cost per basic unit and improve productivity and facility efficiency accordingly by optimally improving efficiency of an auxiliary burner and maximizing efficiency of a lime injection nozzle as a member of the auxiliary burner, and an operating method of the electric furnace is provided. In an electric furnace comprising an auxiliary burner and a lime injection nozzle, an electric furnace linked with electric power volume is characterized in that the lime injection nozzle is an inclined lime injection nozzle(10) installed on a roof(200) of the electric furnace such that an inclination angle of the inclined lime injection nozzle is maintained asymmetrically to a nozzle of an auxiliary burner so as to prevent the accumulation of adhered metal on a part underneath the nozzle due to lime. An operating method of an electric furnace linked with electric power volume comprises: applying a low combination to a first charging operation of the electric furnace, and applying a first pattern to a first dissolver to operate an auxiliary burner; applying the low combination to a second charging operation of the electric furnace, and applying the first pattern to a second dissolver to operate the auxiliary burner; and applying the low combination to a second temperature increasing machine and during tapping to operate the auxiliary burner, wherein the low combination is a flow rate combination of 150 Nm^3/h of oxygen and 160 Nm^3/h of coke oven gas for operating the auxiliary burner, and the first pattern is a flow rate combination of 200 Nm^3/h of oxygen and 210 Nm^3/h of coke oven gas for operating the auxiliary burner.

    • PURPOSE: A melting furnace is provided to enable a target to be efficiently melted by collision of strong flame with the target and the entire molten metal to be efficiently radiated by diffusion flame, using one burner. CONSTITUTION: A melting furnace comprises a body(2), a burner(3), an auxiliary air nozzle(4), and a control unit(10). The body holds a target. The burner mixes fuel with main combustion air and can form strong flame, which collides with the target(As). The burner can also burn only some of the fuel by reducing the flow of the main combustion air. The auxiliary air nozzle supplies auxiliary combustion air to burn fuel remaining in combustion gas after combustion, to the body. When the target is melted, the control unit reduces the flow of the main combustion air of the burner.
