    • The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a foam article by performing a supercritical de-cross-linking reaction on waste cross-linked plastic, which may be mostly burned, to obtain a recyclable polyethylene resin and then using the recyclable polyethylene resin. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: subjecting waste cross-linked plastic to a supercritical de-cross-linking reaction to obtain a recyclable polyolefin resin; mixing 100 parts by weight of a dominant resin containing 10-100 wt% of the recyclable polyolefin resin, 1 to 10 parts by weight of a foaming agent, and 0.2 to 5 parts by weight of a cross-linking agent; and foaming the mixture at a temperature of 170°C or higher. The present invention is directed to a recycling technique of waste cross-linked plastic, which is thrown out without being recycled, causing various environmental problems. Therefore, the present invention has an advantage in that the recyclable polyolefin resin obtained from the waste cross-linked plastic is used in the process of manufacturing a foam article, requiring very sensitive reaction conditions.
