    • Provided are a novel imidazoquinazoline derivative, which serves as a hole injection or transport material, electron injection or transport material, or light emitting material in an organic electronic device, and an organic electronic device using the same, which exhibits excellent characteristics such as driving voltage and stability. The novel imidazoquinazoline derivative(I) is prepared by the steps of: (i) reacting a 2-nitrobenzaldehyde compound(II) and a 1,2-diketone compound(III) with ammonium acetate or formamide to prepare 2-(2-nitrophenyl)imidazole derivative(IV); (ii) preparing 2-(2-aminophenyl)imidazole derivative(V) from the 2-(2-nitrophenyl)imidazole derivative(IV) prepared in the step (i) using a palladium catalyst; and (iii) reacting the 2-(2-aminophenyl)imidazole derivative(V) with an aldehyde compound(Ar1CHO) to prepare a compound(I).
