    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing a polybutylene terephthalate resin and a polybutylene terephthalate resin prepared by the method are provided, to obtain the polybutylene terephthalate resin which is highly viscous but has a low shear viscosity in rapid shearing velocity, and can be extruded rapidly due to the rapid crystallization velocity. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing 0.1-2.0 wt% of a lubricant and 1.0-5.0 wt% of a nucleating agent with a polybutylene terephthalate resin obtained by melt polymerization; extruding the mixture; and obtaining the polybutylene terephthalate resin by solid state polymerization. Preferably the nucleating agent is represented by ROOC-Ar-OOC-Ar'-COO-Ar-COOR, wherein R is H or an alkyl group; and Ar and Ar' are an aromatic group. The obtained polybutylene terephthalate resin has a melt flow index (250 deg.C, 2.16 kg) of 7-15 g/10 min; and an intrinsic viscosity of 1.15-1.35 dl/g.

    • PURPOSE: A flame retardant polymer resin composition is provided, to improve the thermal deformation temperature and the impact strength by using a mixture of a phosphazene compound and a phosphoric ester mixed by a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION: The polymer resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a base resin composition consisting of 40-95 wt% of a thermoplastic polycarbonate resin containing no halogen, 4-50 wt% of a rubber-modified styrene-containing graft copolymer resin containing no halogen, and 1-30 wt% of a styrene-containing copolymer containing no halogen; 1-20 parts by weight of a phosphazene compound and a phosphoric ester compound; 0.05-2.0 parts by weight of a fluorinated polyolefin-based resin; and optionally 0.01-2.0 parts by weight of aluminum hydroxide or antimony trioxide. The mass ratio of the phosphazene compound and the phosphoric ester compound is 85:15 to 15:85.
