CONSTITUTION: A purification method for carbon fiber solvent comprises a step of purifying waste dimethylsulfoxide by distillation under reduced pressure by using a continuous distillation apparatus, and conducting purification after controlling the pH of waste dimethylsulfoxide to 8.5-9.5. The control of the pH is conducted by a method adding sodium slat or mine system into the waste dimethylsulfoxide. The continuous distillation apparatus consists of material capable of preventing corrosion by acid. Water content of the purified dimethyl sulfoxide is 10% or less.

CONSTITUTION: An arc starting method of a welding machine comprises a current sensor(152) and a controller(154). The current sensor senses the welding current when a welding start signal is created. When the welding current is detected, the controller completely short-circuits the wire and base material. The controller controls the output of the welding current and welding voltage when the welding current diminishes under a critical value less in order to prevent the unstable arc start.
