    • PURPOSE: A method for re-treating cooling tower blowdown water is provided to save costs required for installation by purifying and recycling blowdown water without a decarbonizing tower. CONSTITUTION: A method for re-treating cooling tower includes the following: a condensing agent is introduced into at least part of blowdown water discharged from a cooling tower(100); phosphoric acid components and suspended materials in the blowdown water are condensed; an anti-slime agent is introduced into the condensed blowdown water; the condensed blowdown water is filtered, and the suspended materials are eliminate to introduce a residual chlorine reducing agent into the filtered blowdown water; a scale preventive agent is introduced into the blowdown water without the suspended materials; carbonate ions or bicarbonate ions are separated from the blowdown water; and the blowdown water is filtered through a reverse osmosis membrane separator(170).

    • PURPOSE: Provided is an antiscaling and corrosion inhibiting composition for prevention of corrosion, scale and microbial slime in water system. CONSTITUTION: The composition is consisted of 1 to 50 wt.% of tetrakis hydroxymethyl phosphonium sulphate (THPS), 1 to 20 wt.% of orthophosphates, 1 to 20 wt.% of condensed phosphate, 1 to 20 wt.% of organic phosphorus and 10 to 30 wt.% of polymeric dispersant, and the remainder of water and wherein the orthophosphates is selected from a group consisted of phosphoric acid, monopotassium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, tripotassium phosphate, monosodium phosphate, disodium phosphate, and trisodium phosphate, wherein the condensed phosphate is sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) or sodium hexametaphosphate (SHMP), wherein the organic phosphorus is 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid (HEDP), amino tris(methanephosphonic acid) (AMTP), 2-butane phosphate 1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid (PBTC), and wherein the dispersant is polyacryl acid or its salts.
