    • A hydro-electric power generating system is provided to utilize kinetic energy of water in a rotary motion of a rotor by permitting water supply and water drainage to be performed in a tangential direction of the rotor. A hydro-electric power generating system(1) includes a casing(8), a rotor(10), and a generator. The casing is arranged on a water supply pipe(2), and has an inlet port(6) and an outlet port(7). The rotor is mounted on a rotary shaft(9) which is arranged in the casing such that the rotary shaft is freely rotatable in a width-wise direction. The generator is connected to the rotary shaft, and generates electrical energy in accordance with the rotation of the rotor. The rotor includes a body(15) fixed at the rotary shaft, and a plurality of vanes(17) arranged in a radial direction on the body of the rotor such that supplied water collides against the vanes so as to generate rotational moment about the rotary shaft.

    • PURPOSE: A preparation method of an extract of fruits of Chinese quince having antimicrobial activity is provided to minimize loss of the functional ingredients of the fruit.
