    • PURPOSE: Provided is a light-weight brick of which porosity and strength can be easily controlled, thereby having uniform pores and being suitably used as a structuring material in construction field. CONSTITUTION: The light-weight brick comprises clay as a base material, limestone sludge and foam polystyrene as additives. Based on 100 parts by volume of the clay, 20-50 parts by volume of the limestone sludge and 20-30 parts by volume of the foam polystyrene. The method of producing the light-weight brick comprises: mixing the clay, limestone sludge and foam polystyrene with above-said ratio; molding and drying the mixture; calcining the dried product at 900-1100 deg.C.

    • PURPOSE: A drainage asphalt is provided to enhance arsenate resistance, weather resistance, water resistance, fluidity resistance and strength of aggregate, and to improve security for driving vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A drainage asphalt is manufactured by adding 4.5-5.5 wt.% of thermoplastic styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer having the average molecular weight of 70,000-110,000 by weight of asphalt to the aggregate mixture comprising 85-87 wt.% of aggregate, 8-10 wt.% of sand, and 4.5-5.5 wt.% of filler. Then, 11-13 wt.% of modifier is additionally added in order to manufacture modified asphalt with a high viscosity. Preferably, the viscosity of the modified asphalt at 60 deg.C is 200,000 poises and over.
