A seat belt webbing is penetrated through the seat belt webbing groove. The buckle installation hole exposes the buckle fixed to the upper part of the seat belt webbing groove.

    • PURPOSE: A safety belt assembly and a control method thereof are provided to protect the upper body and lower body of a driver with a proper fixing force because a control unit independently adjusts lengths of upper and lower belt parts with pressure signals sensed by upper and lower pressure sensors. CONSTITUTION: A safety belt assembly comprises a safe belt(10), press sensors, a control unit(100), and first and second actuating units(200,300). The safe belt is composed of an upper belt part(11) and a lower belt part(12). The pressure sensor comprises one or more upper pressure sensors(11-a) and one or more lower pressure sensors(12-a). The upper and lower pressure sensors are respectively joined to the upper and lower belt parts and respectively output pressure signals by sensing pressure. The control unit generates control signals in response to the pressure signals. The first and second actuating units are each length of the upper and lower belt parting response to the control signals.

    • PURPOSE: A structure for fixing a buckle of a seat belt of a center seat in two rows of a seats of a van or SUV(Sport Utility Vehicle) is provided to distribute a load of the external shock about a passenger by engaging a saw blade of a hook portion of outside bracket with the saw tooth groove of the guide of the other side of side seat guide. CONSTITUTION: A structure comprises a guide, inside and outside brackets(400,500), and a buckle(700). The guide is installed in one side of the seat rail of the other side seat. The fixing bolt(410) and spring hanger(420) are projected in the surface of the inside bracket. The outside bracket which couples a screwnut with fixing bolt fitting hole(510) is coupled with the inside bracket. The outside bracket comprises a hook unit(520), a spring fixing piece(530), and a buckle joining hole(540). The saw blade(521) of the hook unit is engaged with a saw tooth groove. The buckle joining hole is formed between a fitting hole and spring fixing piece. The coil spring applies the tension force to the outside bracket in order that the saw blade of the hook unit is separated from the saw tooth groove to a constant interval. A fixing portion(710) of buckle is coupled with the buckle joining hole of the outside bracket through bolt(720).

The waist guard belt descends and is fixed and thus the safety belt is buckled at three points.
