PURPOSE: A seat belt buckle for a vehicle is provided to facilitate the coupling of a belt tongue and a buckle head, since the free rotation of the buckle head of a seat belt and a connecting plate is limited. CONSTITUTION: A seat belt buckle for a vehicle comprises a buckle moving device(10), a connecting plate(100), and a buckle head(200). The buckle moving device comprises a screw(11), a motor(12), and a sliding plate(13). The motor rotates the screw. The sliding plate moves forward and backward to a seat by the forward and backward rotation of the motor. One side of the connecting plate is installed in the sliding plate of the buckle moving device to be rotatable. The buckle head is installed on the other side of the connecting plate. The free rotation of the connecting plate and the buckle head is restricted.
