    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding apparatus which can easily and accurately position a cavity insert in a template located above in the gravity direction.
      SOLUTION: By displacing a movable piston 1a upward by applying hydraulic pressure into a cylinder 1, a lower template 7 including a movable platen 9, a lower wear plate 8, and a cavity insert 20 and an upper template 6 including a cavity insert 10 are displaced upward, and an upper template 6 is contacted with the lower surface of an upper wear plate 5. When an electromagnet EMG is turned on, the upper template 6 is sucked to the electromagnet EMG by the generated magnetic force. After that, by displacing the movable piston 1a downward by driving the cylinder 1, a lower wear plate 8 and the lower template 7 are displaced downward with the movable platen 9, but the upper template 6 is retained on the side of the upper wear plate 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article positioning mechanism which can make a high precision positioning and restrain rotation, and display excellent reliability in positioning function and rotation restraining function.
      SOLUTION: This article positioning mechanism is equipped with a first locating ring 21 which is fixed to a mold M and a second locating ring 31 which can be engaged with and removed from the first locating ring 21 and is fixed to an adapter plate 2. The first locating ring 21 is of a regular polygonal shape with a plurality of arcked angular parts 22a of an outwardly projecting section which is orthogonal with the axis and a plurality of side parts 22b. Besides, the first locating ring has a tapered engaging male part 22 which becomes smaller diametrally toward the apex side. The second locating ring 31 is of a regular polygonal shape with a plurality of arcked angular parts 31a of an outwardly projecting section which is orthogonal with the axis and a plurality of side parts 31b. Besides, the second locating ring has a tapered engaging female part 31 which becomes smaller diametrally toward the innermost part. In addition, the tapered engaging male part 22 and the tapered engaging female part 31 can be closely engaged with each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling of a mold clamped to a die plate by a magnet plate by restraining operation of a stopper member by relation between a locate ring and a protruding rod.
      SOLUTION: The structure comprises a die plate including a rod insert hole for the protruding rod, a mold including the locate ring protrusively provided on a mold mounting surface having a protruding hole bored therein, and a magnet plate including a receiving hole for the locate ring, and fixed to a plate surface of the die plate with the receiving hole being superimposed on the rod insert hole. A stopper member of the mold is stored in a storage hole bored in a ring wall part of the locate ring to be protrudable out of the ring and retractable into the ring. An engaging edge of the stopper member is protrusively provided within the locate ring inserting-side opening end of the receiving hole.
