    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the symmetry of a differential switch operation of a switch drive circuit used for a digital/analog converter or the like. SOLUTION: The switch drive circuit 10 is provided with a current-voltage means where a current path connected between 1st and 2nd output nodes CN1, CN2 is formed and a current I can flow through the current path in a 1st direction from the 1st output node to the 2nd output node and in a 2nd direction from the 2nd output not to the 1st output node so as to produce a voltage between the 1st and 2nd output nodes depending no the magnitude of the current and its direction and with a switch means that switches the current from a 1st state where the current passing through the current path flows in the 1st direction into a 2nd state where the current flows in the 2nd direction depending on a control signal applied to the switch means. In the current-voltage characteristic of the current voltage conversion means, the voltage produced in the 1st state is substantially the same magnitude as but the inverted polarity to the voltage produced in the 2nd state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fast switching without increasing power consumption by applying the value of voltage in an operation state as the current source of a transistor(TR) which constitutes the current source to the TR during a period in which current to a load is not necessary. SOLUTION: A TR 11, a switch 12 and a load 13, which is connected to a power source are connected in series and a constant voltage source 14 and a switch 15 are connected in series to a node N3 as the connection point between the TR 11 and the switch 12. Once the current to the load 13 no longer becomes unnecessary, the switch 12 is turned on and a switch 15 is turned on instead to apply the voltage of a constant voltage source 14 to the node N3. The value of the voltage of the constant voltage source 14 is so set that the TR 11 constituting the current source operates as a current source, namely, it operates in a saturated region, and then the fast switching becomes possible so that a stable current can be obtained.
