    • A frequency modulation (FM) signal demodulating circuit having a simple structure using general digital devices is provided. The FM signal demodulating circuit according to the present invention includes a first pulse generator for generating a pulse signal having a predetermined pulse width at every rising edge of the input FM signal, a second pulse generator for generating a pulse signal having a predetermined pulse width at every falling edge of the input FM signal, a combining portion for combining the pulse signals generated in the first pulse generator and the second pulse generator, and a low-pass filter for performing a low-pass filtering operation by receiving a combined pulse signal generated in the combining portion and outputting a signal having a magnitude corresponding to the frequency of the input FM signal. The FM signal demodulating circuit according to the present invention has a simple structure.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an FM inverting phenomenon without changing the zero cross point of a normal FM signal by inputting the frequency modulated wave and the output from a pulse generating circuit to two differential inputs of a differential input type limiter circuit and executing the FM modulation after a limiter is executed. CONSTITUTION:The title circuit is composed of a peak detecting circuit to detect the peak point of an frequency modulated wave, a pulse generating circuit 3 to have a mirror width by the information from a peak detecting circuit and generate the pulse of the polarity reverse to the frequency modulated wave and a demodulating circuit 5 having a differential input type limiter circuit 4. The frequency modulated wave and the output from the pulse generating circuit 3 are inputted to two differential inputs of the differential input type limiter circuit 4 and after the limiter is executed, the frequency demodulated is executed. Thus, over all frequency ranges where the FM fundamental wave exists, the inverting phenomenon can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To improve S/N in a simple and effective way by using plural Schmitt trigger circuits and monostable multivibrators and synthesizing the demodulated signals at a time. CONSTITUTION:The modulated signal applied to an input terminal 26 is converted into a pulse signal by a Schmitt trigger circuit group 27 and then into a PPM signal by a monostable multivibrator group 28. The MM1, MM2... of the group 28 have the same working, and the demodulated signals are extracted after the high frequency components are eliminated by LPF1, LPF2... of an LPF group 29. These demodulated signals are applied to an adder 30. The noise components are produced by the Schmitt trigger circuits and monostable multivibrators respectively and therefore not correlative with each other. Therefore, the synthetic noise volume of the adder 30 is set at P1/2N. Thus the S/N of the output of the adder 30 is increased in proportion to the square root of the number P of the monostable multivibrator groups.
