    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the damage caused by ground fault, by shortening the time required for detection and break of a faulty circuit and restraining it from unnecessarily breaking a sound circuit, in a grounding fault sequence breaker which is installed in a substation.
      SOLUTION: A grounding fault sequence breaker which is installed in the substation, where a plurality of circuits are connected via a line switch LS1 or LS2 to a bus, determines whether circuits are connected to the faulty system F1 by reading in signals that shows the connecting situation of the switch LS1 or LS2, and outputs a break command to only circuits connected to the faulty circuit when breaking the circuits in order.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a leak position quickly and easily as a position in one of branch circuits divided by branch breakers, and remove that position so as to make the other normal branch circuits operate normally. SOLUTION: After the power distribution line of a power user enters a main breaker 1 and a leakage current detector 2, the distribution line is divided into a plurality of branch circuits 41-48 by a plurality of branch breakers 31-38. If leak is detected by the leakage current detector 2 while a power is supplied through the power distribution line the main breaker 1 is opened in accordance with the command of a breaker control circuit 5 and then the branch breakers 31-38 are opened. After all the branch breakers 31-38 are opened, the main breaker 1 is closed. After that, the branch breakers 31-38 are closed one by one. If the leak is detected by the leakage current detector 2 when one branch breaker is closed, the branch breaker of that branch circuit is opened and kept in the open state to remove the leaking circuit.

    • PURPOSE: To cut off a load by a power supply breaker in a general house, etc., following the predetermined priority order of the load cutoff when an overload state is produced. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of relays 3, etc., and loads 8, etc., connected to the relays 3, etc., are associated with each other in the degree of the influence of a power supply cutoff as a reference. A priority is given to the order of the cutoff of the relay by a setting input unit 15 and stored in a memory unit 13. A total load current is detected by a load current detection unit 2 and detected datum is supplied to a control unit 20. The control unit 20 makes a comparing unit 14 compare the detected datum with an alarm reference current or a cutoff reference current. If the detected datum exceeds the alarm reference current, a required indication is displayed on an alarm display unit 17 or a required alarm is given by an alarm unit 19. If the detected datum is further increased and exceeds the cutoff reference current, the relays are successively cut off following the priority order until the detected datum is decreased to a value not larger than the cutoff reference current. The cutoff is restored by a resetting unit 21, etc.
