    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for mapping oxygen concentration over a whole interested region.
      SOLUTION: An image system and a method includes excitation processes (112 and 114) of water-exchangeable spin in oxygen-transmittable molecules in ROI (region of interest) having change in an oxygen status. In order to distinguish the change of oxygen level over the ROI (120), proton movement is detected from an exchangeable proton of water inside at the inside of ROI (116). The method decides oxygenation of hemoprotein in vivo, and includes a process for adding radio frequency (RF) energy to the image object so as to excite off-resonance spin of the water-exchangeable molecule, and a process for deciding proton movement from the excited water-exchangeable molecule to non-excited molecule.
