    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information transmission means for generating evacuation activities at the time of a large scale disaster, by notifying all the people in a region including local residents and users of vehicles and ships etc. about the necessity of emergency evacuation, without loosing an announcement function even in the case that existing information transmission means is not functioning.SOLUTION: An apparatus for performing disaster prevention announcement by launching a signal fire is installed in an appropriate zone to notify all the people within an area about disaster prevention. In a first method of launching the signal fire, launching operation is executed upon receiving a command signal from either a wireless master station device for disaster prevention or an operator station of the signal fire launching apparatus. In a second method, the operation is executed upon receiving a signal of an earthquake detection unit provided in the apparatus, however factors such as scale of the earthquake is analyzed using a control unit and the launching operation is executed in accordance with an operation procedure set in beforehand. In a third method, an operator directly operates the apparatus to launch the signal fire. The signal fire is launched according to either one of the first to third methods in order to announce the necessity of emergency evacuation and to initiate evacuation activities.
