    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal device capable of surely removing combustion generation ash mass comprising coal ash sticking to a coal combustion facility.SOLUTION: The combustion generation ash mass removal device includes a firing device body equipped with a nozzle 3 and an orbit change mechanism 5 which is attached to the nozzle 3 for changing an orbit of a ball. The firing device body launches the ball fed into the nozzle 3 through a feeding opening formed at the nozzle 3, by a compression air fed from an end part on an upper stream side in launching direction of the ball of the nozzle 3. The orbit change mechanism 5 includes a tube body 6 fit on the outside of the nozzle 3 for rotation around an axis, a base stage 7 with a tip end part protruded from the tube body 6 for pivoting on an outer peripheral surface of the tip end of the tube body 6, and a collision plate 9 to which the ball collides. By rotating the tube body 6, the collision plate 9 is, along with the base stage 7, rotated around the axis of the nozzle 3, and a wedge member 13 is shifted along with an annular frame 10 by a threaded axis 12, to allow changing of an angle of the collision plate 9, thus, allowing removing of generation ash at an intended position.
